First, we visited Nesting Park Kurokawa and Castanea Kurihira in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, which Odakyu Real Estate is developing in partnership with Blue Studio. The explanation of the concepts of these buildings allowed us to obtain points relevant to this project, such as the fact that the boundary between inside and outside is intentionally made ambiguous.
Later, at Kurihira LDK, Odakyu Real Estate explained the concept of the Odakyu Group’s real estate business. Here, too, we were able to obtain points relevant to this project.
Finally, we visited Shimokita Line Street (下北線路街, Shimokita-Senrogai), where we also received a detailed explanation of the design concept and construction process. Through the above surveys, a concrete direction for the next step in the project came into view.
